North Korea and fascism

North Korea never attracted my attention before. I knew next to nothing. Angry leader, communism, weird rules and that was about it. A blank spot on the map. But, I’ve done some studying and the biggest discovery is:

North Korea is a fascist state. People are starving so the leader can build his guns. People executed if they fail to shed tears in morning of previous leaders. People prohibited from their own opinions. And maybe the worst example: People living in fear of a imminent nuclear attack from America – each day for years. Millions of people suffering a horrible leader.

It’s the old fascist recipe for ruling – keep people in fear. Instigate segregation laws or apartheid laws. In the history there have been fears of Jews, Russians, Africans and today Americans, Muslims and so on. Create propaganda. Or “fake news”. Make believe.

Something about North Korea that would profoundly mess with my personality: The speakers everywhere. Playing music when they think you should go to bed or wake up in the morning.  The fusebox would blow for sure. I’ve lived hearing sermons in speakers and I’d take that any day. It’s cultural, it’s given by concern or love or lack of seats in the building. It’s not to annoy anyone.

I’m not sure the North Koreans want to be free. I don’t think they understand the concept of freedom. How can you, if you never saw it?

Sarin gas in Syria

A lot of countries are present in Syria. Those that are not keep their eyes open. I bet even the Eskimos have their tellies tuned in to keep up with developments. Still, someone decides to bomb children with chemical weapons.  Possibly sarin gas, says experts. At least 58 people dead. 11 of them are children.

Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad is said to be the one behind the attack. He’s been found guilty of chemicals attacks three times before. He should be brought to justice. War crimes are also crimes!

If you were a Muslim…

What if people were looking at you with suspicion. You know what they’re thinking. You’re a terrorist. Or one to be. They can tell by your looks, even if you sometimes are a Sikh from India. They know. In fact, they often know you better than you do.

You are probably a criminal. The last thing you printed was probably a bomb making manual. Oh yes, the people around you can tell. Have you been to a hard ware store lately? How many AK’s do you have in the closet?

They sometimes asks you to go home to your country. Even if you were born here. Even if there never were another country. Even if this is your country that you proudly serve – you don’t belong.

Your religion teach hatred. Every now and then a Christian approaches with the truth. And you learn that they see you as a threat. Christianity is so much better. That you’ll understand when they praise the second amendment.

As you approach the security at an airport, did you budget for several hours of vetting? By now you must know that they use “inexperienced” personnel, that regrettably makes mistakes for hours. Well, if it comes out, that is.

Who ever you are reading this, no matter whom you’ve voted for or what ever religion you represent – don’t make people suffer. Don’t think your life, beliefs or politicians matters more. Stay human. Be an equal.

No, this is not religion

A Iraqi soldier helps a child who was kidnapped by Daesh and strapped with a suicide belt. If you think this have anything to do with religion, think again.

I’m so tired of the Hijab discussions

hijab

It’s silly. Politicians should be concerned about their peoples welfare and well being. Not what they wear on their heads. I really don’t want to pay for politicians not doing their job.

Private employers may bar staff from wearing Islamic headscarves and other visible religious symbols under certain conditions, the European Union’s top court ruled on Tuesday.

Since I’ve worked a great deal with security I do understand that niqab and burkha is difficult under some circumstances. But hijab? Restrictions is about oppressing the religion. Nothing else. It’s dealing with fear in the most childish way. Fear of ancient ruling is punished by intervening in how people dress.

How about solving the problems? Learn about the problem and then solve it. Period!

The Iraqi man and his dream

I was driving an Iraqi man to his doctors appointment. While driving through the forest he told me how beautiful Sweden is. We talked a little about Sweden and suddenly he tells me the story of how he decided to come and live in Sweden.

He dreamed of peace for his family but it was nowhere to be seen. So, whenever he could, he started search the internet for a place to go. He had two criteria; It must be far away and have no war. He looked at maps, studied information and there it was – Sweden.

“Did you know, he said, Sweden didn’t have a war for two hundred years.” This really excited him. And at the end of the ride he concluded, with a smile, that the beauty of Sweden is a bonus. The main goals were reached: Far, far away from Iraq and no war.

Four Mosques Have Burned In Seven Weeks

fearHow do you feel safe in America? How is it becoming great again? The threat to the people seem to be greater than ever.

As a Swedish citizen I could choose not to care. But no, we all have a obligation to keep the western countries democratic and peaceful. Anything else is welcoming chaos. You can call it extreme, totalitarian, dictatorship or what ever you want but there’s a reason that people are coming to us from countries suffering from these conditions.

“On January 7, the Islamic Center of Lake Travis, in Austin, Texas, which had been under construction, caught on fire. A week later, on January 14, the Islamic Center of Eastside, in Bellevue, Washington, burned.

Two weeks after that, on January 27, several hours after President Donald Trump signed an executive order banning immigrants from seven Muslim-majority countries, a fire destroyed the Islamic Center of Victoria, in Texas.

Then, this past Friday, February 24, a small blaze broke out at the front entrance of the Daarus Salaam Mosque, near Tampa, Florida.”… “In recent weeks, scores of bomb threats were called into Jewish community centers and schools around the country and graveyards in Jewish cemeteries in three states were vandalized.” BUZZ FEED NEWS
